Day in the life

What a working student's week can look like.

This is a sample schedule, not a specific student's, built to show one realistic rhythm: an early-morning study block, evening course logins, and a protected Sabbath. Your own week will look different. Online learning works when it fits your life, not the other way around.

From the Academic Catalog

The average student enrolled in one eight-week, three-credit course will spend about 14 hours per week engaged in active learning (37.5 hours x 3 credits ÷ 8 weeks = 14.1 hours per week). This equates to 4.7 hours of virtual classroom learning and 9.4 hours of homework. Taking two courses simultaneously will require approximately 28 hours per week.
