How escalation works
- 01
Start with the appropriate grievance process
Most concerns are resolved fastest through the process designed for that issue, academic appeals, student conduct, financial aid, accessibility accommodations, or Title IX. Identifying the right channel first usually shortens resolution considerably.
- 02
If your concern is not resolved
When a matter is not addressed by an existing process, or you are unsure which applies, contact the Office of Enrollment and Student Support or the Vice President and Chief Academic Officer. These offices will direct you to the correct process and explain what to expect at each step.
- 03
External review options
Students who have exhausted internal review may contact WSCUC, the university's accreditor, or the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. Complaint information and contact details are provided in the document linked on this page.
